Further anti spam measures

Users must now have posted a minimum of 3 posts before they are allowed to include working links in a post. Hopefully this low number will not need to be increased, the spam which we are getting now is from real people who have nothing better to do than trawl the web looking for forums to register with and spam their links to.

Forum Upgrades
Poster: james_so 22 Oct 2009 11:22 am

We have finally got around to upgrading the forums to phpBB v3, the old forum is no longer available and all traffic
should be directed here instead.

Some profile areas have been lost in the changeover but hopefully nothing too important, eg. Everyones signatures seem to have dissapeared :?

Please bear with us while we upgrade and get everything sorted out :D

Everything back to normal
Poster: james_so 23 Feb 2007 12:42 pm

We have dealt with the bot problem for now and so everything is back to normal. Hopefully no-one will have suffered any lasting problems due to the site changes as they are mainly concerned with the registration scripts. If you are having any issues please contact a moderator or admin.
